Zoom has been the go to tech for video calling over the last few months and it has seen an incredible rise to fame. Wired looks into the future and predicts the further elevation of the Zoom brand:

It will be difficult for employers, who have asked staff to work from home throughout the pandemic, to refuse any future requests for home working. Zoom is key to making this work. Other tech is available, but Zooms seems to be ‘generic’ enough to be user friendly no matter what your preferred platform is.
Zoom’s success lies in its simplicity the fact that anyone can use this web-based tool and it is free (for 45 minutes anyway) it opened up the gateway to home working and nothing, it seems, can stop it!
